Executive Director

Diane Silbernagel, Executive Director of HomeCare Options, the Passaic County-based not-for-profit home care and wellness agency.  Previously Diane served as Executive Director of Catholic Family & Community Services in Paterson and at Catholic Social Services of Morris County, known as Hope House.  Diane has served on the HomeCare Options’ Board of Trustees since 2002.   Trained as a nurse and on schedule to receive her Doctorate in Nursing Practice in 2017, she has also worked in home care in Bergen and Passaic counties in supervisory and other capacities.

HomeCare Options Staff

Nancy Barrantes, Director of Finance at HomeCare Options, where she has worked in the billing and payroll departments for the past five years. Previously, she was with the banking industry. She oversees all of the operations related to Finance for the agency.  Nancy holds her Bachelor of Science degree from William Paterson University.

Melanie Conquest coordinates the agency’s ECAP Program (Emergency Child Aide Program). Visiting Homemaker Service of Passaic County, (HomeCare Options) began our Emergency Child Aide Program (ECAP) in February 1983. In 2013, 21,650 hours of service were provided for 283 families. The ECAP program is designed to work in conjunction with caseworkers from the Division of Child Protection and Permanency who are handling problems of child abuse and neglect. The program has 11 Certified Home Health Aides and a Program Coordinator on staff. These aides are available for emergency placements 24 hours a day, 7days per week and can live-in if needed. Melanie has been working at HomeCare Options since 2014 and holds a BS in Psychology from East Stroudsburg University and a MA in Counseling from Montclair State University.

Mardochee Milord, Statewide Respite Program Coordinator of Passaic County and a Field Social Worker at Homecare Options.  Mardochee graduated from Montclair Academy High school, and then went to Passaic County Community College to complete her Associates Degree in Human Services.  She graduated with a BA from Rutgers University in New Brunswick where she majored in Psychology and Public Health. She currently working on in Master’s of Social work.  Past experience includes volunteering at Saint Joseph’s Hospital in Paterson as well at Saint Michael’s church in Wayne as a youth group advisor.  She is multilingual with a background in French, Creole, English and Spanish; currently learning sign language.
